Moving Tips

Make a list

Write a list of every item that you would like to be moved, even down to the lamps and area rugs. Have this in hand when you call for an estimate; this will help you receive a better estimate.



Have plenty of supplies

Pack everything into a box to make it easier on your movers. Having all of you belongings boxed will allow your moving crew to load and unload quicker; saving you money in the end. Pack dishes and fraglie items by wrapping them in packing paper.

 



Utilize wardrobe boxes

​Wardrobe boxes allow you to transport you clothes on hangers without folding them. Pack your jackets, suits, dresses, pants, shirts, or anything else on a hanger.



 

Color coordinate

Place colored stickers on items as well as on the door frames of the corresponding rooms.
